Wisma STA

Wisma STA, a 12-storey commercial/office building, is supposed to reflect the contributions and achievements of the timber industry in Sarawak. The building is located on a prime piece of land in a strategic and new business district of Kuching city and is within close vicinity of various banks, hotels and shopping complexes. The city's international airport and government administrative offices are also easily accessible from this neighborhood.

Wisma STA is being managed by STA Enterprises Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary of STA, established in March 1995. The Company was formed to undertake the construction and eventually the management of the building. The construction of Wisma STA commenced on February 1998 and on 15 October 2000, history was created with the symbolic moving to the Level 11 by STA from its previous office in Wisma Sumber Alam, Petra Jaya, Kuching.

On 27 March 2001, Wisma STA was officially opened by the Honourable Chief Minister of Sarawak, YAB Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr.) Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud.

Being a prominent landmark in the Kuching city skyline, it is the Management's intention to create an environment for business excellence and provide a modern, efficient and comfortable sanctuary for distinguished businesses to operate.
